All the wheels are in motion for a Michael Stipe interview in the spring/summer issue of Refueled magazine. I proposed a feature on how/if graphic design, photography and video has defined the image and music of REM - where the inspiration and ideas come from and how his photographs might set the mood and tone of the albums. Michael has worked closely with in-house designer Chris Bilheimer on almost every aspect of the band's imagery since day one. Stay tuned.
