Refueled magazine’s Publisher/Creative Director Chris Brown & Senior Photographer Gustav Schmiege will be in New York City December 10th - 12th for a variety of projects at Levi’s Photo Workshop, 18 Wooster Street.

The Levi’s® Workshops are a series of community-based venues for collaboration and creative production. Each Workshop is based on a different communications craft, but the concept stays the same: invite people to access our resources and expand on their important work. They launched with a two-month print shop in San Francisco during the summer of 2010. Their calendar was full of events that celebrated the values of craft and community. On October 7, 2010, they opened the Levi's Photo Workshop in New York City. Their photographic resources offer a lens to focus in on exciting activity in and around the city. They collaborate with individuals and organizations, and use photography to distill something essential about the work they do.

As one of the original purveyors of American work wear, Levi’s has a longstanding commitment to the American frontier. These efforts at the Workshop celebrate that pioneering spirit and inspire communities across the nation to engage in creative collaboration for the common good.

Friday, December 10th: Refueled {Automatic Buzz} session with new Columbia artist, singer/songwriter Isaac Russell.

Sunday, December 12th: Refueled “Portrait Series” with Senior Photographer Gustav Schmiege. Come down for a shoot capturing the American spirit. 11 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Wear your favorite Levi's.
