Refueled magazine has always been about grassroots and guerrilla marketing, so of course when Refueled publisher/creative director Chris Brown and senior photographer Gustav Schmiege were invited by Ford to take out one of their new 2011 Explorer (equipped with wi-fi) last Saturday night and spread the word by crashing some of the hottest Superbowl parties in Dallas, they were stoked to explore. Along for the ride was Bradford Public Relations, Inc. president Liz Bradford, Social Strategist Cynthia Smoot, Dallas Social Media Club president Mike D. Merrill, interactive marketer Bev Garvin and their driver Cari Perez.

The night started with an incredible chef’s tasting & drinks at Vill-O, where we ran into actors Adrian Brodie and Mark Harmon. They know where to get a great Italian meal. Parties included the Candleroom, the Leather & Laces party at Hotel Zaza hosted by Entourage star Kevin Dillon and the major blowout at the Maxim magazine party with a surprise musical performance by Grammy winner Wyclef Jean. Each party and event was a Who’s Who of actors, musicians and stylemakers.

The Ford Explorer is definitely capable of handling whatever you can throw at it, and the MyFord™ Touch will forever change the way you interact with your vehicle. Your music. Phone contacts. The perfect temperature. Directions to just about anywhere you need to go. You can access all of it while keeping your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road, and the Sony® Audio System with HD Radio rocks!

Thanks Ford for an amazing night.

Chris! It was an absolute pleasure spending time with you exploring the SB45 scene Saturday night. Thanks for going with the flow. Let's do it again with a jaunt down to that home of the state capitol. I heard something big is happening down there in a few weeks. :) Thanks again. Liz

It took me a week to recover from this adventure. I'm too old for this shiz... Good times my friend!
