Refueled has long been a fan of Billy Reid’s low-fi Southern-bred luxury. His warm and hospitable personally is not only reflected in his clothes but also in his shops. Loaded with antiques, family heirlooms and reclaimed architectural materials like faded chairs and carpets, antique chandeliers, mounted deer heads and vintage apothecary cabinets, the look is true-grit South.
Refueled publisher/creative director Chris Brown visited Billy’s relocated Dallas shop in Highland Park recently to hangout, play a tune for the staff on the ukulele, comb through demin, and choose the perfect bowtie.
