Stoked to announce that I will be producing/directing the video for "Get it Right", one of the singles from singer/songwriter Amy Cook's soon-to-be-released new album "Let the Light In". The video will be shot in Austin by my company Refueled Films sometime next month. I'm in the creative/storyboarding stage of the process at the moment, so I'm slowly pulling images (some shown above) from here and there to better set the vibe and to show Amy what I'm envisioning.
Amy Cook weaves the sounds of alt folk, pop, Americana, and rock and roll into a "moody and kick-ass" (Velvet Park) canopy of sound. With more than 20 song placements in TV and film (from Dawson’s Creek, Felicity, Party of Five, Veronica Mars, MTV's Laguna Beach, to the thoughtful, Emmy-winning full-length documentary Amargosa, directed by Todd Robinson) Amy has cultivated a solid reputation as a talented songwriter.
