As the lights went down at Blackmail, with a standing room only scene, singer/songwriter Alejandro Escovedo began to sing “13 Years” after an emotional introduction from designer Gail Chovan. Chovan’s runway show “13 Years”, featured her newest 29 piece collection of black leather, deconstructed lace, silk and hand scorched muslin. The crowd was a who’s who of stylemakers, designers, musicians and creatives.
