Austin, Texas has always felt like a second home for Refueled, even more so lately. This past weekend myself and photographer Gus Schmiege attended the 17th Annual Austin Film Festival, hung out more with our gal pal Lauren Wilkins over lots of tequila and vodka, met the rad photographer Alexandra Valenti, viewed the “Paradise Has Relocated” exhibit by photographer Sandy Carson at Okay Mountain and listened to vintage country music on the jukebox at The Brixton.
I’ll be back next weekend to attend fashion designer Gail Chovan’s F/W 2010 show at Blackmail, which will include jewelry from my sweet friend Pamela Tuohy-Novinsky at 2ETN. We’ll also be shooting a {Automatic Buzz} session with singer/songwriter Dana Falconberry. Stay tuned.
